WILLIAMSPORT -- Two men were arrested and committed to Lycoming County Prison on Saturday, August 19, after police raided an apartment on Glenwood Avenue and found marijuana , traces of heroin and paraphernalia. According to an affidavit by a Williamsport Bureau of Police officer, he was patrolling the 400 block of Glenwood Avenue, a known narcotics trafficking area , around 10:46 a.m. The officer noticed a gray Dodge Charger rental car with a Georgia license plate parked in front of an apartment building known for narcotics trafficking. The officer had observed the vehicle driving through the 700 block of Center Street, also a known narcotics area, moments before. DENHAM SPRINGS , LA (WAFB) - It's been a while since Dr. Ben Carson has visited south Louisiana , but he returned to the area Monday to tour areas hit hard by last year’s historic flood and check in on how the state is handling the HUD dollars allocated to help. LAKE WORTH — A neighbor watched as a barely clothed woman was dragged by her neck early Friday into a Lake Worth-area apartment. The woman was screaming, the neighbor told a 911 dispatcher, and the naked man with his arm around her neck kept beating her. Inside the home, Edwin Jairo Calle Jr . had raped, hit and demeaned the woman while her two kids slept nearby , Palm Beach County Sheriff ’s Office records indicate. Calhoun County Sheriff Department logo (Photo: Provided) WOMAN, DEPUTY INJURED: An inmate and a deputy were injured in the Calhoun County jail when the inmate fell from a second-story tier in an apparent suicide attempt . Sheriff's deputies reported the incident at 9:16 a.m. and said the inmate, 45, climbed over a security railing about 12 feet above the floor below, according to Sheriff Matt Saxton . The inmate was drinking a nontoxic cleaning solution before she let go of the railing and fell backward. Tosha Cummings, a corrections officer, attempted to catch the woman and break her fall and she was knocked back, hitting her head on a table and then the floor. Both women were taken to Bronson Battle Creek for treatment and released. Cummings is expected to return to work in a couple of days, Saxton said. The inmate was returned to the jail and placed on suicide watch. The inmate was arrested Monday on a warrant for failure to appear for a trial. She is charged with a 2015 ass...

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A tenant is looking for answers after he says a home surveillance camera caught a maintenance worker stealing from him while on the job. Kelvin Wilson has lived in Rosemont Apartments for nine months and until now, he says he's never had issues with the complex. "I [keep] pretty much to myself. I go to work, come home. I don’t really get to see the in’s and out’s of what goes on here," says Wilson. Last month, Wilson installed a camera inside his home for security purposes. This past week, a maintenance worker was sent to Wilson's apartment for a work order on his garbage disposal. The surveillance video allegedly captured the worker pouring pills out of a bottle prescribed to Wilson following a dental procedure and going into his bedroom multiple times , despite the work order primarily involving the kitchen.
