A gun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight Saturday , and two other vehicle break-ins were reported along the same street, according to Greenville Police Department case reports . A Greenville man reported Sunday that his vehicle had been broken into, and a  Springfield Armory XDM .40 caliber handgun, valued at $500, and two handgun magazines with 26 .40 caliber rounds, valued at $575, were stolen. The theft reportedly occurred between 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and 6 a.m. on Sunday in the 2900 block of Cedar Creek Road . Police spokeswoman Kristen Hunter said the doors were left unlocked. The case remains under investigation. Officers are looking into whether the case might be linked to two other vehicle break-ins that occurred during the weekend on the same street, according to Hunter. The other two cases also occurred in the 1900 block of Cedar Creek. Nothing was stolen and there was no damage to the vehicle in an incident that occurred between 11 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m....

(WNDU) - UPDATE People who escaped an apartment fire in Three Oaks are going back to save any belongings they can carry. 14 families had to evacuate as Hidden Harbor Villas caught fire early Saturday morning . A Michigan State Police fire investigator says the fire started in a vacant apartment on the second floor near the utility closet but he says it's not suspicious and he doesn't believe it was arson. That's not much comfort to the families, only two of whom had renters insurance. Melissa Lawson, one of those affected, said, "We were running to just get out the door. LEWISTON — A Brooklyn man was indicted on drug charges this week, accused of selling the fentanyl investigators say has been linked to several drug overdoses in recent months. Nera James, 38, was indicted on a dozen counts, including aggravated drug trafficking , and trafficking in counterfeit drugs. Investigators say James, using the street name "King," sold dope from an apartment at 91 Walnut St., offering the drugs as heroin when it was in fact fentanyl. Police said he also met customers in tenement hallways on Pierce, Walnut, Nichols and other streets in the downtown area. According to court documents, James' fentanyl was linked to so many drug overdoses in the area that some local drug users refused to use it. On Dec. 20, 2016, police and drug agents stopped James as he was walking on Shawmut Street. OKLAHOMA CITY -- A tenant is looking for answers after he says a home surveillance camera caught a maintenance worker stealing from him while on the job. Kelvin Wilson has lived in Rosemont Apartments for nine months and until now, he says he's never had issues with the complex. "I [keep] pretty much to myself. I go to work, come home. I don’t really get to see the in’s and out’s of what goes on here," says Wilson. Last month, Wilson installed a camera inside his home for security purposes.
