First of all, I feel like living inside of a garbage can. My apartment is infected now with small cockroaches, the pest control company came… several times and I think they are spraying water because is not working at all. I have a baby at home who I'm afraid of getting sick and the office staff don't do anything about it, actually they don't even answer the phone so you will probably need to take a day off if you want to get in touch with them.
They charge us extra fees for trash services and the company hired ALWAYS miss to pick it up the bags, smells nasty outside and I feel ashamed of bringing guests home.
My mom came visit me and she didn't know that here is a free smoking community, No warnings signs, so If you don't live here it's just impossible knowing that. She was smoking downstairs when Pam, the lady who works at the office came SCREAMING, I could hear her voice from the third floor and she took my mom's cigarette from her mouth and threw it away. She crossed the line, it doesn't matter if my mom was right or wrong you don't treat people this way. She was rude and very UNPROFESSIONAL.
I'm so frustrated, I would like to move out as soon as possible from this community. more »

I could give them a zero right now I would they haven't fix this leak in over six months I found out where it is leaking in about five minutes by being in the room when it rains and they still want to take out the window for no damn reason the waters coming from the floor and they don't want to listen I don't want to talk to anybody except for one person and that's fucked up

My neighbor and his wife are always fighting, which I can hear. I can also hear loud thumping of walking in my unit. Some tenants in the neighborhood have loud mufflers on their motorcycles or cars and aren't the most considerate in the middle of the night during the weekend. Parking is a big issue that needs to be addressed. Pet owners rarely pick up after their animals. I confronted my neighbor about letting his animal defecate on my lawn, and offered him a doggy bag of my own.. he said I was "such a b**ch". Thanks for being neighborly!

Ever since changes in property management took place, I've seen significant improvements within the community. Oddette is amazing!! Best Property Manager ever! Someone is always answering the phones, emails are always responded to, monthly emails are sent out to tenants advising of anything being done on the property, including taking care of the parking situation. They also have started to bring in things to keep the community engaged (food truck night, Dominos night, movie and popcorn night). I would start recommending this community to anyone who is on the lookout for a place to call home. more »
This place is not terrible but also not the greatest. The grounds are well maintained and the house structure is pretty good. I have a flying ant problem and can't get anyone to answer the phone at the front desk. Not only that, Orkin has been out three times in the past six weeks to "take care" of the problem and the ants are still flying around. The gates on the grounds are always either broken or malfunctioning. It's a disappointment because you pay for that extra "security" only for it to lack that.

Don't ever move here. They don't fix anything and they are only after your money. You are not a person, you are a cash machine to these people. Zero parking, they charge you for being in a gated community and the gates haven't worked for a year. You can't have friends over because their car will get towed overnight. They took down the basketball hoops for no reason, which some of use moved here for. The pools are always closed and they are horrendous in the front office.

If I can give the Preserve no stars I will! Ever since pinnacle management came in to place this community has been going downhill! The security gate never works which defeats the purpose of being secure , anyone can just come in and enter our community , they refused to deduct this from our rent but instead raise our rent to pay for their recklessness !The back pool has been dirty for the past three days nobody has came to clean it, tried having a barbecue for memorial day and this is what I saw , bathrooms have dirty toilet paper everywhere used condoms thrown in the men's bathroom , men's bathroom door broken does not lock ,always a bunch of kids hanging out at the pool section at night making everybody feel uncomfortable to go to that side .Hot tub does not work, Lake always dirty and is never been maintained or seems like it. It's a reminder at the Preserve is supposed to be a luxury apartments and townhomes and they do not live up to their expectations. My state been trying to call the office for days now to let them know about the situation nobody answers and if I ever do get somebody to answer they never follow through with what needs to be done especially service orders!!!!

I received a call from the manager Odette today letting me know that she had taken a picture of my vehicle because it had an expired tag and this was part of their new parking lot surveillance procedure to help parking problems. That I needed to take care of the tag unless I wanted my car towed. To be honest I'm in shock that the property manager would call me to tell me she would tow my vehicle, instead of following up on the maintenance request I submitted last week and took 3 days to take care of. The gates are always down and due to that we have had numerous robberies in the last few months. There is dog feces scattered all around the lake and the jacuzzi is always down. I live here now and I can not believe how the staff speaks and treats their tenants! I work in customer service and I could teach them a thing or two on how to gain people's business. Do yourself a favor and do not rent here. There is absolutely no parking.

Unfortunately the new system is not work properly and they don't care about us .... I have to to run to the office to solve a problem that's somebody else is "paid "to do it... very disappointed and frustrated.
We were shown one apartment and the one were given to move in was the smallest i have ever lived in. It was not sufficient for my needs and they would not let us out of our lease. We had to constantly look at the billing because they overkill consistently. The security gates are always open so this is not really a gated community. While living there, we had three floods, bugs, smoking smell coming through the vents, raccoons.The office never answers the phone, so all communication needs to be done i person. This is by far the worst managed place I have ever lived. They are dishonest and lie to get you in. They don't care about enforcing the rules. Everyone in my building smoked, so the smell came into my unit and smelled the air outside. I am so happy to be out of there. The maintenance people only come once the emergency is on. We had a broken washing machine that was replaced after one week of not having one. i had to do laundry at my family''s home. There is a sharp sound that sounds near the gym. It never stops. The gym keys work only sometimes.

I have lived at the Preseve of Deer Creek for five years. I am moving because of my job. Management was always on top of any needed maintenance issues. The leasing staff is extremely courteous and efficient. Rochelle was the best manager ever. Odette is currently the manager and she is sweet, personable and extremely down to earth. Chris the assistant manager is just as sweet as Odette. Hilton, Pam and Demi are all wonderful. This management team wills always listen and try their best to get issues resolved in the least amount of time. I have nothing bad to say about them. I will miss them.

Staff is rude and lacks common customer service skills. Not very welcoming or inviting attitudes. Once you sign the contract good luck. Guy at the front desk tried to convince me that a leak on the roof doesn't create mold. That is common science, I may be 23 but I am not an idiot, I would not recommend living here. Happy my lease is over. More unlisted issues. Feel free to contact me if needed. Nice layout, I wish the customer service matched the environment its built around. I've had more than a handful of issues, and they have all been studiously ign…ored by the staff. Mold, broken front gate, dog feces laying on the ground everywhere you look, and a small roach problem is just the start of the list.
The hot tub is broken, and there doesn't seem to be any movement to repair it. The gym, which was one of the selling points when I moved in, is filled with broken weight training equipment, and when this was brought up, I was told to join a private gym if I wanted to work out. It could not be farther from "State of the Art" as the website claims.
The lake is filling with algae, and there is what appears to be a fountain that is totally exposed, and is constructed of incredibly unappealing PVC piping, but I honestly couldn't tell you what it is because in my three months of being here I've never seen the thing do anything other than be an eyesore.
Parking is a nightmare. I have been blocked in by my neighbors on many different occasions, though this seems to have stopped with the recent parking registrations. However, I often have guests over as I like to entertain a lot, and the process of constantly registering their cars if they choose to stay the night is exhausting. A middle ground must be reached, perhaps a placard that could be placed in a window to mark the car as an overnight guest? It wouldn't have to be much, just a laminated piece of paper would do, but I cannot continue like this, it's a drain on my already limited time.
I could look past one or two of these problems, but the fact that they are all happening simultaneously is just unacceptable. From what I can see of the other comments, it appears that the property manager will write a response wherein he tells the world that he is incredibly sorry that I have suffered so, and then absolutely nothing will change. I'd be happy, or at least appeased, if they bothered to actually do anything about these issues, but the staff are just looking out for the bottom line.
I have spoken to my neighbors, two of whom have been here for some months more than I, and they are reporting the same complaints. I am sure that it's a waste of my time for my own sake, but hopefully someone else will read this and stay away from this apartment complex. more »

If you want do a bbq close to the pool with your family and friends, they will ask for $150.00 to use the bbq, they gonna say the corporation just change the rule ,if you recommend someone to move here they say they will give to you 50 dollars, when you do guest what ? The corporation change rules

I am on my second year here and I am very happy . The office responds quickly to my help requests the maintenance people are polite friendly and get the job done. If u don't like dogs this isn't the place for u. We are loaded with them in every size and shape lol I myself have a cat but I love all animals . I do wish the dog owners would be more responsible and scoop the poop as there are plenty of doggie stations providing free plastic bags and a recepticle to discard the used bags really no excuse. There is a bit of a parking situation here definitely not enough of. And yes the gates frequently don't work but all in all I have to give them 4 stars the landscaping is well kept the pools are clean the gym is nice and mostly a good place to live. Someone mentioned they were right behind target and heard noisy generators I live back there and it's quiet and peacefull we don't hear anything like that .

The front office staff are generally friendly and helpful.Units are good and complaints are handled promptly and efficiently.Although some issues keep repeating -eg: Hot tub not heating,Car wash machine not working and remote controls for gym TV's disappearing.

2. I echo the issue of parking that others have raised here. It is impossible to invite someone over because I don't know where to have them park - and when we inquired about where to park around Christmas time, we were told that there was nowhere appropriate to have visitors park.
3. Earlier in the reviews, someone mentioned that maintenance is very timely. This could not be farther from the truth! At Thanksgiving, our garbage disposal broke. It kept our dishwasher from working, and the drain from draining. So after waiting for a few days, my wife just fixed it herself - right around December 1. We forgot to cancel the work order. About a week ago (around MARCH 1) a person from maintenance showed up to fix our garbage disposal. However - we DID mention this to the people in the office when we had gone in for a different issue, and that maintenance issue was fixed that day. So, not sure what that is about, just stating the facts.
All in all, if you are looking for a nice place to live, with friendly neighbors and a comfortable living space, this is the place for you - the above mentioned things like gates, parking, and maintenance won't affect everyone in the same way. Odette has done a great job cleaning up some things that were neglected by the previous office manager, and it seems like things are trending up.

Three years ago when my son moved it, it was a nice place for him to live. Nowadays with the impossibility of splitting rent electronically with his roommate and constantly changing rules mid-lease, it is really not a place I would choose for him to live.

Great community! Units are clean and maintenance is very responsive. Every service request has been completed within the 48hrs period. The community is less the a half mile from Boca Raton and within 5 Minutes from shopping and dining (including a movie theatre). I would recommend The preserve at Deer creek to anyone who is looking to rent an apartment. The landscaping and pool are always maintained the pools. This community is also pet friendly and the gym is very nice.
We just came from viewing this property and it was amazing. It had an awesome resort type feeling. The apartments themselves were very homey also. Very cozy. Not to mention the property guide DEMI, she was my all time favorite person that has helped us today!! Nice, funny, 10/10 would love to live here.
