WILLIAMSPORT -- Two men were arrested and committed to Lycoming County Prison on Saturday, August 19, after police raided an apartment on Glenwood Avenue and found marijuana , traces of heroin and paraphernalia. According to an affidavit by a Williamsport Bureau of Police officer, he was patrolling the 400 block of Glenwood Avenue, a known narcotics trafficking area , around 10:46 a.m. The officer noticed a gray Dodge Charger rental car with a Georgia license plate parked in front of an apartment building known for narcotics trafficking. The officer had observed the vehicle driving through the 700 block of Center Street, also a known narcotics area, moments before. OMAHA, Neb. - An Omaha man has been arrested for “pleasing himself” in public for what police believe is the 12th time. According to police reports, 31-year-old Anthony Triplett was charged with the latest offense just before midnight on Saturday. Officers were called to 14th and Cuming after a caller reported seeing a man exposing himself. The officers encountered Triplett who told them he was charging his phone at an outlet on the outside of an apartment building. The man who called 911 told officers when he arrived home to his building earlier, he saw Triplett sitting in the front entry way to the building with his pants down and was “pleasing himself.” The caller said Triplett then moved outside and continued to expose himself. Officers relocated Triplett who at the time had his pants undone with his underwear was partially down. One of the officers noticed Triplett was looking at pornography on his phone. A standoff in Dartmouth between Halifax police and a man threatening officers with a knife came to an end on Monday after the man surrendered once a warrant was slid under the apartment door.Police say they were on scene at an apartment building located on Jackson Road Monday evening in relation to a man wanted on a warrant.At 4:26 p.m. officers observed a man walking down the middle of Pinecrest Drive yelling and screaming. NORTH CHARLESTON, SC — Two children were found with injuries inside a South Carolina apartment and later died, and now a man has been charged with attacking them, North Charleston police said. Officers were called to the Jamison Park apartment complex about 3 p.m. Monday when someone reported children were trapped inside an apartment with a man, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said. The caller had been attacked and locked out of the apartment, police said. The suspect fled before officers arrived . Two children were found and been attacked, police said. They later died. Their names were not released. About five hours later, officers arrested Raashid Jaamal White , 26, and charged him with two counts of murder. It was not known whether he has an attorney. After the third homicide in three days in Columbus, a crowd spilled into the street on Fourth Avenue Tuesday before a police standoff ended with a suspect in custody. Tamir Harris, 33, of Columbus was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:06 a.m. near 35th Street, said Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Charles Newton . His body will be transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab in Decatur for an autopsy. × Missing woman discovered dead at Woodcrest Apartments identified MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Authorities have identified the missing woman found dead at the Woodcrest Apartments this past week. According to authorities they have positively identified the deceased as 31-year-old Sulema Luna Tornez . WREG was on the scene at 170 North Hollywood Tuesday night as officers combed through an apartment searching for clues. They said they received a call to the location after someone spotted something or someone suspicious in the area. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered Tornez dead with multiple stab wounds . Tornez was reported missing sometime before her body was discovered. Authorities have not released any suspect information at this time. They do believe the suspect and the victim knew each other. This is the 10th homicide of the year. Authorities believe a custody dispute amid a disintegrating marriage triggered a murder-suicide in South Carolina earlier this summer, after 36-year-old Jessica Edens shot and killed the woman whom she believed was her estranged husband ’s girlfriend. Edens then killed her two young children and, finally, shot herself, according to police. She left behind a scathing suicide note for her spouse. Here are four things to know about the tragedy. 1. Edens’ Spree Began with Husband’s Suspected Girlfriend On July 13, police believe Edens fatally shot 28 -year-old Meredith Leigh Rahme at a parking garage at Rhame’s apartment complex in Greenville, South Carolina, before fleeing the scene in her Jeep. Greenville Police Chief Ken Miller said Edens believed Rahme was dating her husband, Benjamin Edens , who had reportedly filed for divorce from her after their separation in April. According to the Wichita Falls Police Department , 17-year-old Brandon Rojas has died from a gunshot injury Monday . Authorities are trying to determine what led to the shooting Monday afternoon at Cedar Creek Apartments in the 1500 block of Trigg Lane. Around 3:30 p.m. police were called to an apartment there in relation to a possible shooting. When officers arrived authorities say they found Rojas with a gunshot wound. Rojas was taken to United Regional, investigators are also not saying if this is an accidental or intentional shooting.  

A Florida woman was arrested after she told police that she left a little boy in the care of a homeless baby-sitter because she needed to make a quick trip out of town. Tampa Police were called to an apartment building near Busch Gardens following reports that a child was outside unattended. When officers arrived they found a 2-year-old boy sitting outside an apartment door with a blanket, sippy cup and half-eaten Lunchable, a police report states . Timber Creek Apartments RICHMOND, Va. — Police have identified the man shot and killed at a Southside apartment complex Sunday morning . The man has been identified as Eugene Edmond, Jr., 34, of Chesterfield. Police were called to the Timber Creek Apartment complex in 2200 block of Chateau Drive a little before 10 a.m. When officers arrived, they found Edmond suffering from multiple gunshot wounds . He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. Police are still searching for the gunman who also left another wounded. “We have a second victim that was transported to an area hospital with non- life threatening injury ,” Deputy Chief Steve Drew with the Richmond Police Department said. The shooting marks second homicide in Richmond in a 24 hour span. “We have good leads on both cases, good evidence and good witnesses,” Drew added.
