Pony-tailed drunk man arrested for disorderly conduct: North Royalton Police Blotter

 

Trespassing, Royalton Road: On July 26, police were dispatched regarding an unwanted man inside of Niko's Bar on Royalton Road. The caller said the highly-intoxicated man, wearing all black with a ponytail and beard, was told not to return to the bar months ago.

He was now attempting to fight with employees. An arriving officer discovered the man left the bar and stumbled towards nearby apartments.

That's where the police found the man who kept falling into garage doors. When told about the Niko's incident, the man said, "That was months ago." The North Royalton resident was arrested for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.  

Disorderly conduct, Deer Creek Drive: On July 22, police were dispatched to Deer Creek Apartments regarding a drunk man who was punching cars in the parking lot.

An arriving officer found the drunk man, who had urinated on the sidewalk and thought he was in Elyria. He could barely stand. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Regarding the car punching, there wasn't any damage. While at the police station, the man made rude and inappropriate comments.  

Car parts theft, Pine Forest Drive: On July 23, police were dispatched to Pine Forest drive after the owner of a motorcycle discovered someone stole his license plate.

The officer found metal shavings around the bike. He said this suggested a drill or tool was used to take the license plate off the bracket. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.   

Drunken driving, Royalton Road: On July 22, police observed a Nissan run a red light at the State Road and Royalton Road intersection. When the officer approached the car, the driver immediately lit a cigarette.

Also, the driver smelled like booze. The man admitted to having three beers and a couple of "car bombs." After failing a field sobriety test, during which he nearly fell over, the man was arrested for drunken driving.

He was also cited for going through a red light.
