Newport Beach’s newest luxury apartment complex is now clear to have live entertainment on the grounds. Villas Fashion Island got Planning Commission clearance Thursday to amend its permit to allow live entertainment and an outdoor sound system . The entertainment, not limited to musical acts, could include performers such as magicians, jugglers or stilt walkers, according to a city staff report . The commission voted 5 -0, with members Kory Kramer and Peter Zak absent , to approve the change. Michael Ayaz, a lawyer representing the complex’s owner, the Irvine Co., told the commission the Villas had every other amenity a high-end resort would have, except live entertainment . “Most of the residents are really seeking this,” he said. The 16-acre, 524-unit complex in Newport Center spares few luxuries for its tenants, featuring onsite massage therapy , a dog spa, a putting green and bocce court, five saltwater pools, dining terraces with pizza ovens, an indoor- outdoor yoga studio...

By KEVIN LANDRIGAN New Hampshire Union Leader August 20. 2017 11:16PM unit apartment complex ."> Elizabeth Voyiatzakis of Lucas Road in Manchester says her rural area is not the right location for a 165- unit apartment complex .  (Allegra Boverman/Union Leader) MANCHESTER — During three City Hall meetings over three months, residents of Lucas and South Mammoth Road desperately and sometimes loudly fought a luxury townhouse apartment rezoning request they maintain would forever change one of the last rural enclaves in the city. “I want somebody with a vested interest in keeping the land nice and this plan just won’t keep it that way,” said Elizabeth Voyiatzakis of 411 Lucas Road . Well-known developer William Socha got his turn at bat last week and made the most of it, filling the Manchester aldermanic chamber with employees, friends and residents of his other complexes. Developer finishing Portofino Apartments and planning new Maize complex

As Case & Associates Properties finishes up work on its new Portofino Apartments at 127th Street East and Central, the Tulsa-based company is preparing to start a new complex in Maize. President Scott Case has been keeping the project quiet until now because “homeowners are very sensitive now when you say ‘multifamily.’   ” The approximately 270-unit complex will be on about 14 acres north of the Maize City Administration building, which is north of 37th and Maize Road. Case says he and his company have been working with homeowners in the area “to try to soften the impact of multifamily next to single family.” “It would be a great addition to the community,” says LewJene Schneider , one of the property owners. “This brings a luxury, high-end, Class A facility to the community,” says Schneider, who along with her family also developed the nearby Watercress neighborhood. Schneider says the apartment complex “will attract a clientele that we hope will eventually move right in to Wat...

Ellington, CT Real Estate: Stunning in every season Autumn Chase

June 01, 2012 | By TONY BACEWICZ If customer word of mouth is still the best sales tool, the new one- and two- bedroom luxury apartments at Autumn Chase in Ellington may not be vacant for long based on conversations with several long-term tenants. Carl Larson moved from a home in Hebron to his two-bedroom apartment at Autumn Chase 10 years ago where he continues to enjoy his retirement. Autumn Chase was his first stop while on his apartment hunt and he continued comparison shopping in Vernon and Manchester. He returned to Autumn Chase when he could not find anything as attractive. "I really liked the layout of the facility here, and as I looked at other apartments, I liked it more and more," says Larson. Autumn Chase apartment buildings are set back a comfortable distance from West Road in Ellington and are buffered by an expansive green space that includes a pond with a fountain and a small wetland lined with cattails. The complex includes several more ponds, a wel...

The Cherry Creek of the Future

Image
The population in Cherry Creek North is set to grow exponentially as development hits a crescendo. Can the area seamlessly transition from a retail destination to a mixed-use neighborhood? Cherry Creek has come a long way from its origins as a farming community established as the town of Harman in 1886. During the early 20th century , it was just a few houses, small farms and greenhouses on 320 acres. It was considered an economical place to live.  Fast forward to today, and the town's founder, Edwin Preston Harman , likely wouldn't recognize the area, which has evolved as Denver's premier shopping and dining district and one of the priciest neighborhoods in the region to call home. Cherry Creek is is undergoing yet another transformation with the development of new apartments, condos, office space, retail projects and a new hotel. The tony shopping district is experiencing the biggest construction boom it's seen in decades, fueled by developers wan...

Renata Sanches DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!! Do yourself this HUGE favor. First of all, I feel like living inside of a garbage can. My apartment is infected now with small cockroaches, the pest control company came … several times and I think they are spraying water because is not working at all. I have a baby at home who I'm afraid of getting sick and the office staff don 't do anything about it, actually they don't even answer the phone so you will probably need to take a day off if you want to get in touch with them. They charge us extra fees for trash services and the company hired ALWAYS miss to pick it up the bags, smells nasty outside and I feel ashamed of bringing guests home . My mom came visit me and she didn't know that here is a free smoking community , No warnings signs, so If you don't live here it's just impossible knowing that. She was smoking downstairs when Pam, the lady who works at the office came SCREAMING, I could hear her voice from the thi...
