File photo   Trespassing, Royalton Road: On July 26, police were dispatched regarding an unwanted man inside of Niko's Bar on Royalton Road. The caller said the highly- intoxicated man , wearing all black with a ponytail and beard, was told not to return to the bar months ago . He was now attempting to fight with employees. An arriving officer discovered the man left the bar and stumbled towards nearby apartments. That's where the police found the man who kept falling into garage doors. When told about the Niko's incident, the man said, "That was months ago." A standoff in Dartmouth between Halifax police and a man threatening officers with a knife came to an end on Monday after the man surrendered once a warrant was slid under the apartment door.Police say they were on scene at an apartment building located on Jackson Road Monday evening in relation to a man wanted on a warrant.At 4:26 p.m. officers observed a man walking down the middle of Pinecrest Drive yelling and screaming. Police say they recognized the name and knew he currently had a warrant for failing to appear in court. BRITT | A Britt woman has been charged with entering an apartment at Summit House Assisted Living and stealing cash. Randi Jo Chipman , 35, was arrested Aug. 5 on a felony charge of third-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of dependent adult abuse . While employed as a caregiver at the Britt assisted living facility , Chipman entered one of the apartments and took cash from a resident's purse while she wasn't there, according to a criminal complaint. The Britt Police Department , with assistance from the resident and staff at the Summit House, set up a surveillance camera on July 13 after the resident reported money had been stolen from her purse in the past. Police say money was marked, photographed and placed in the purse, which was set on a table in the apartment. The police were contacted on July 15 and told money had been taken from the purse. Two men were arrested Sunday after allegedly shooting at others in a town of Madison park, with nobody believed to have been hit by bullets in the incident. Children and adults scattered from the park and the park's playground to nearby apartment buildings when the gunfire started at about 2 p.m. in South Dale Park , 112 Deer Valley Road , town of Madison police said. "Some of the victims and suspects were familiar with each other and had negative interactions, which is what led to shots being fired," said police sergeant Jess Fischer . The two men arrested, Maurice Leggions, 27, and Markell Leggions, 24, were tentatively charged with attempted first- degree intentional homicide . WILLIAMSPORT -- Two men were arrested and committed to Lycoming County Prison on Saturday, August 19, after police raided an apartment on Glenwood Avenue and found marijuana , traces of heroin and paraphernalia. According to an affidavit by a Williamsport Bureau of Police officer, he was patrolling the 400 block of Glenwood Avenue, a known narcotics trafficking area , around 10:46 a.m. The officer noticed a gray Dodge Charger rental car with a Georgia license plate parked in front of an apartment building known for narcotics trafficking. The officer had observed the vehicle driving through the 700 block of Center Street, also a known narcotics area, moments before. The community’s first residents were allowed to move into the former federal arsenal and munitions factory at the corner of 40th and Butler streets earlier this month, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times . Indianapolis- based Milhaus Development is the developer for the project.   In March, construction workers found more than 30 cannonballs filled with black powder on the former 38- acre Allegheny Arsenal — a major supplier of the Union Army during the Civil War — that were considered still dangerous.
