As Case & Associates Properties finishes up work on its new Portofino Apartments at 127th Street East and Central, the Tulsa-based company is preparing to start a new complex in Maize. President Scott Case has been keeping the project quiet until now because “homeowners are very sensitive now when you say ‘multifamily.’   ” The approximately 270-unit complex will be on about 14 acres north of the Maize City Administration building, which is north of 37th and Maize Road.
