Dubai- based property developer Invest Group Overseas (IGO) will invest Dh2 billion in new real estate projects over the next few years, its CEO said. The group on Monday launched Dh500 million freehold residential tower in Jumeirah Lake Towers , equipped with 440 units of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and plans a couple of more residential projects by 2020, said Dr Anas Kozbari , CEO of IGO: "We handed over Polo Town Houses last year and now we are in the process of handing over last group of apartments from Polo Residences in Meydan. We have additional projects that will add Dh2 billion worth of our investments up to 2020. Two projects will be launched during the course of the years. Granite countertops and stainless steel appliances have been installed in the first Portofino Apartments on 34th Street, just west of Milwaukee Avenue, before the grand opening July 19 .  Sara Fierro, director of operations for Asken Properties , said five buildings are scheduled to open for residents to begin moving in July 15. The clubhouse, a 3,500-square-foot building, will also be ready for the office staff to move in by that time. Up to and through the grand opening event , those who sign a lease at Portofino will be given a free iPad Mini , Fierro said. Stayed for 3 days, 2 adults and 2 teenage boys, in apartment 6, the room was spotless, with a large bathroom with shower, large living room with push down bed, and another bedroom, we also had a play station which kept the lads happy, everything we needed was in the room (t.v, iron, hairdryer, microwave, coffee, teabags, sugar,) beds were very comfortable. We were a five minute walk to Blackpool Pleasureland, 10 minutes to the nearest pub/restaurant (velvet coaster) and trams stopped outside if you wanted to go tower etc. Charles was very welcoming on our arrival and we would happily stay here again.
