I have been living at Heatherwood Club Apartments for over a year now and it is by far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The staff is always super friendly and always available to answer any questions my wife and I may have. The maintenance man is always super friendly and fixes everything in a timely and professional manner. The staff always makes sure we are aware of anything complex maintenance they may be performing ahead of time which is very convenient. When we moved in the apartment was very clean and nothing was broken or out of place. more »

If I could give less then a star I would. I currently live here and we have had nothing but problems. First of all many of our doors didn't not work. Our front door and door frame are completelyoff. This means that in order to close the door you have to slam and push really hard against the door to lock it. That's just the top lock. The bottom lock did not even work. If I were to lock the bottom lock alone the door would not be locked. Secondly we have a ton of mice. Ton meaning at least 6-10. And of course at least one of them finally got in. We saw him run across our hallway. We saw mouse poop under our kitchen sink, on our couch, on the floor in the living room, on the spare bed in my sons room and on the bed in my sons crib!!! I called the emergency line because it was the weekend, they told me sorry nothing we can do you have to live with the mice for now. Then my apartment manager, who is nice, told me she was sorry and came herself and put traps in the house. I told her I could not stand living with mice in my sons bed so I got a cat. The cat def helped because the next day I saw only a little mouse poop. Way less then the previous day. Besides that we have at least 2 spiders a day. And not the daddy Long legs type, the mean type! Before we even moved in there were dead flies in all the rooms. There was also pee stains in the carpets that the manager told me they just could not get out when cleaning it. The air conditioner would leak a lot! The bathroom door did not stay closed or lock. The laundry room door is broken. Now I moved from California and I drove. So I would not be there until Tuesday. They made me pay starting the previous Friday. Because that's when the apartment was available. So I paid for 4 days that I did not live there. Now, I will say that the maintenance man is very nice and helpful. The manager here is also very nice but sometimes gives answers that are too politically correct or "corporate" instead of just being for the renters. So I unfortunately came from a different state and was not able to come and see the apartment for myself before I rented. Now of course I'm stuck in a lease for the next year!! I'm hopeful the situation here improves and if it does I will update my review accordingly. more »

I am looking for an apartment and as soon as I saw they only accept cats who have been declawed it was a big hell no! for me. I will never move into a place that promotes the cruelty of animals and you shouldn't ether. more »
