RICHMOND, Va. -- Family members say a world- renowned hair stylist and business owner was killed in a double shooting outside a Southside apartment complex Thursday night . Police said 33-year-old Karen A. Turner, of the 10400 block of Colony Village Way in North Chesterfield, died after shots were fired on Green Cove Drive outside the Blue Ridge Estates apartment complex around 10:40 p.m. Karen Turner A second woman was wounded after two women were heard arguing in the parking lot, Crime Insider sources told Jon Burkett . "Officers responded and located the female with a gunshot wound to the leg, but also found a female nearby in a vehicle who was unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound ," a Richmond Police spokesperson said. Pensacola Police Department officers responded to the Jamestown Estates on Summit Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after a bystander heard what they described as a gunshot. PPD spokesman Mike Wood said an adult man was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound in the parking lot area of the complex.
