Remnants of a meth lab were found in an Oak Hill apartment early Tuesday morning . According to a report from the Oak Hill Police Department , on Tuesday, July 5, at approximately 1 a.m., officers of the Oak Hill Police Department (OHPD) responded to 116A Morgan Street in Oak Hill with the Jackson County EMS . While the OHPD was at the residence, officers noticed indications of drug use and a possible methamphetamine lab. The OHPD called for methamphetamine technicians from the Jackson County Sheriff ’s Office (JCSO). They then obtained a search warrant for the apartment. Upon executing the search warrant at the residence, the officers allegedly discovered drug paraphernalia , chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine, and two gas generators that can be used in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine.
