Denver-based Aimco, one of the largest owners and operators of apartment communities, has increased its local holdings and acquired the Eastpointe Apartments complex in east Boulder, property records show.
Aimco Eastpointe LLC paid $18 million for the 140-apartment complex at 1550 Eisenhower Drive, according to a deed recorded Dec. 1 with Boulder County. Aimco Eastpointe acquired the property from Boulder Park Company LLLP, based out of New Jersey.
Officials for Aimco could not be immediately reached for comment.
In addition to Eastpointe, Aimco's Boulder holdings include Boulder Creek apartments, 3455 Table Mesa Drive, and Meadow Creek, 5131 Williams Fork Trail.
The Eastpointe Apartments were built in 1974. Boulder County Assessor records show no sales deeds filed since that time for the Eastpointe property.
