Remington man arrested for alleged stabbing | News

Law-enforcement officials are investigating an alleged stabbing at a Remington apartment complex that took reportedly took place last night.

Around 7 p.m. on July 26, Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Fauquier Hospital emergency room for reports of a 25-year-old man suffering a stab wound to his arm.

The man told deputies he was stabbed in the arm during an altercation at the Remington Garden Apartments in the 400 block of North Church Street

An investigation resulted in the arrest of Michael Dean Turner, 38, of Remington, said Sgt. James Hartman, public information officer for the sheriff’s office.

Turner was charged with malicious wounding. He is being held at the Fauquier County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Fauquier County General District Court on Sept. 6.
