What it’s like to stay at President Trump’s boyhood home in Queens, New York – now an Airbnb rental

By the dawn’s early light, I searched the kitchen of Donald Trump’s childhood home in Queens for a coffee mug. There were none to be found, so I drank my coffee from a President Donald J. Trump Childhood Home insignia water glass and fixed myself a bowl of Wheaties from one of the five boxes on the counter. It had been a restless night. I had fallen asleep in the bedroom where, according to a plaque on the wall, “ President Donald J. Trump was likely conceived.” I awoke Sunday in the darkness feeling as if I’d been chasing a ghost. Eric and Lara Trump’s first baby is due to arrive next month, but this birth doesn’t appear to be a top-secret operation. As spotted by the Daily Mail , the Secret Service apparently left the couple’s supposed birth plan , written on a white card, in plain view on the dashboard of their vehicle, parked just outside Trump Tower in Manhattan. The card, which was redacted in part by the Mail, lists the name of someone who is to be called “A.S.A.P.” after news of the birth, as well as info on the hospital. Lara Trump was also reportedly seen outside her apartment building in Manhattan last Thursday. The mom-to-be is said to be taking it easy in Manhattan until the birth of her firstborn, but she told the Daily Mail Online last week that she has still been in the fray of Trump administration happenings this summer. The publication noted that they reache...

After decades hoping for an event like the one held yesterday at Gosling Meadows in Portsmouth, two cops who spent their formative years in the development got to party with residents and provide some tasty barbecue. Ken Tilley and Mike McNeil rolled up in the Soul Patrol food truck to participate in the family event coordinated by Jason Corkum and Marcy Baer, who spent months planning and weeks renovating the recreation areas inside the neighborhood. The event included a basketball tournament, face painting and a raffle for the youngest participants. Everything just came together, said Corkum, even the weather cooperated. Check out story, photos and all the people and businesses to thank for supporting the celebration. Portsmouth packs ‘em in And I’m not talking about tourists. There’s been a steady stream of applications for the development of accessory dwelling units , according to city Planning Director Juliet Walker .
