421-unit residential building to open on Harrison's 'Platinum Mi

A 421- unit residential apartment building is set to open along the I-287 Corridor’s “ Platinum Mile ” in Harrison. Harrison Mayor Ron Belmont says he watched buildings like the ones at the “ Platinum Mile ” remain vacant for decades. He says he is now looking forward to a revitalization. "We've been working on this for about four or five years. It's exciting. Not only for the town of Harrison, but for the entire area,” he says. The building at 103- 105 Corporate Park Drive will soon be called Carraway. It will house 421 luxury apartment rentals with retail shops, a gym, a parking garage and even a pet spa. Although pricing for the apartments is not yet finalized, the developer estimates a one-bedroom could run up to $1,800 a month and a two-bedroom could go for $2,500. The grand opening for the building is set for mid-2020. If the Harrison Town Board signs off on a Wegmans Supermarket just a few hundred feet away, it would open a few months before Carrawa...
