A five-year-old child was stabbed to death in a domestic violence incident on the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill campus , officials said. The child's parents were also injured in the incident, which happened around 11.45pm Saturday and was reported to authorities around 12.12am Sunday, The Herald-Sun reported. CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Authorities in North Carolina say they anticipate charging a 34-year-old woman with first-degree murder after a " domestic incident " on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's campus left her 5-year-old son dead. Orange County District Attorney Jim Woodall says Ebony Oluwaseva, 34, will be charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. She is hospitalized with injuries she suffered in the Sunday morning attack . Her husband, 32-year-old Victor Oluwasegva, was injured in the incident but is expected to recover. Police responded to a single- family residence at the Baity Hill family housing community just after midnight Sunday in response to a domestic incident involving a husband, wife and child. According to a 911 call released earlier this week, Victor Oluwasegva told a dispatcher that his wife, Ebony Oluwasegva, stabbed him multiple times while he was sleeping. Search warrants reveal that Victor Oluwasegva told officers who responded to the scene that his wife had injured or killed their child. According to the warrants, police who responded to the home found a knife that appeared to be covered in blood just inside the doorway of the apartment. The UNC website describes Baity Hill as an apartment complex that houses graduate students and student families. Authorities said a knife was used as the weapon in the violence, which also involved the child’s parents. They were taken to a hospital for treatment. Residents have complained about bed bugs in their apartments to local, state and federal agencies during the past several months. Last week, the Greenbriar Apartments , 121 Waverly Road, was inspected by dogs trained to sniff out bed bugs. Thursday evening about 6:30, a notice was slipped under Sue Coulters door . The bed bug-sniffing dogs had detected the parasites in her apartment and workers would be by the next day to throw out her furniture. CHAPEL HILL, NC (WTVD) — UNC Police are investigating after a domestic- violence incident left a 5-year-old boy dead and two adults with injuries Sunday at UNC’S Baity Hill family housing community . On Monday, authorities named the boy’s mother, 34-year-old Ebony Oluwasegva , as a suspect in the case. Charges have not been filed but are pending. INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Indianapolis Fire Department crews had a busy Thursday morning fighting two fires, one at an East Washington Street apartment and the other at a Bates Street residence , according to Indianapolis Fire Department Battalion Chief Rita Reith . Reith said IFD crews were dispatched just before 2 a.m. and arrived to 5824 E. Washington Street to light smoke showing on the third floor, from a vacant apartment #26. Reith said 16 IFD units were dispatched, getting the flames was under control at 2:01 a.m. According to a release, there were no injuries, however damage is estimated at $16,000.
