ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man has been arrested for Wednesday morning's shooting on South Frederick Street that left one man seriously injured. Nicholas Nichols, 24, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Malicious Wounding , Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The shooting happened at about 7:04 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Frederick St ., near Columbia Grove apartments , police said. The investigation determined that the shooting occurred after an altercation between known acquaintances. Arriving officers located a 26-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound and transported him to George Washington University Hospital . The man sustained serious but non- life threatening injuries , police said. GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County Sheriff 's Office announced a third arrest in a deadly shooting at Boulder Creek Apartments . Greenville County deputies , fire crews, EMS and the coroner responded to the apartments located at 300 Furman Hall Road in reference to gunshot victims  around 1:45 p.m on Sunday, Apr. 2. When they arrived on scene they realized a second scene was taking place at the Spinx on North Pleasantburg Drive . Sheriff Will Lewis said they received calls regarding two male gunshot victims who pulled into the Spinx, one of which was deceased. The coroner later identified the deceased as Azaveon T Cook, 21 of Piedmont. Cook was the passenger in the vehicle that arrived at the Spinx, the coroner said. He was pronounced dead on scene after suffering at least one gunshot wound. The coroner said bystanders attempted CPR on Cook but were not successful. Around 1:45 Tuesday morning, police responded to 1810 Country Club Road , Bonhomie Apartments for a reported shooting according to Hattiesburg Police Lt . Latosha Myers Mitchell . “When officers arrived, they found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds , once in the head and once in the back,” said Myers Mitchell . She added that the victim was transported by ambulance to Forrest General Hospital , where he is listed in stable condition.
