Woman found dead in Mill Creek apartment; cops arrest husband

MILL CREEK, Wash. -- Police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead early Tuesday morning in a Mill Creek apartment . Officers were called shortly after 4 a.m. to Heatherwood Apartments on North Creek Drive . Police found the suspect, a 52-year-old man, with a cut on his hand walking around the parking lot. Inside an apartment, officers found the body of a woman who had been stabbed. The victim was the suspect's wife, police said. Detectives remained on the scene Tuesday. Police said no further information was immediately available. The cause and manner of death will be released by the medical examiner's office. 47.875226 -122.220172

Young Park Ridge woman found slain in her Florida apartment

PARK RIDGE — Police are investigating the killing of a Park Ridge woman found dead inside her Florida apartment on Tuesday. The body of Nicole Franco, 19, was found early Tuesday morning in her Oakland Park apartment , the Broward County Sheriff ’s Office said on Thursday. Franco had called 911 at 3:29 a.m. to report that someone was breaking into her home, but only gave dispatchers the apartment complex's address, not her apartment number, investigators said. Officers went door-to-door at Bridgewater Place, looking for signs of a break-in. They found an open sliding glass door to a first-floor apartment, and found Franco's body inside, investigators said. Authorities have not yet released information on how Franco was killed, but said her death is being investigated as a homicide. College Park Police said they found Tee Tee Dangerfield in her car early Monday morning (Facebook photo) (Photo: WXIA) COLLEGE PARK, Ga. -- More than two weeks after a trans woman was found shot to death in College Park, police confirm they've arrested a suspect. Tuesday night, police arrested 26-year-old Tyrone Kemp for the July 31 murder of Tee Tee Dangerfield . Kemp is charged with malice murder. According to College Park Police Cpl . Lance Patterson, Dangerfield was found shot to death in her car at the South Hampton Estates apartment complex in the 3100 block of Godby Road.  Dangerfield was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital but was later pronounced dead. At this point, it is not clear if the murder had anything to do with Dangerfield being transgender.
