STORRS, CT — Massive construction projects on the main University of Connecticut campus mean students returning to campus this week will be facing a move-in weekend like never before. Some students who arranged early move -in are already on campus, but the bulk of the 12,400 who live in Storrs residence halls will be descending on the campus beginning at 7 a.m. Friday. Freshmen are up first Friday, followed by upperclassmen and transfer students over the weekend. The biggest piece of advice for far from administrators for Friday has been to go old school while driving to the new school. That means plugging the dorm addresses into GPS units is essentially useless because of North Campus closures and traffic restrictions along North Eagleville Road from Route 195 and its side streets . MILFORD, NH — Christian W. Biddle , 26, of Nashua Street in Milford, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. on Aug. 14, 2017, for criminal mischief, obstructing the report of a crime or injury, and breach of bail. He was arrested after a domestic disturbance in an apartment on Nashua Street. Andrew M. Budrick , 31, of Briarcliff Drive in Milford, was arrested on a warrant at 9:53 p.m. on Aug. 7, 2017. ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — A Minneapolis man is accused of selling the heroin which police say killed a man in St. Louis Park earlier this year. Zachary Gontard , 37, faces a third- degree murder charge . His bail was set at $50,000. According to the criminal complaint , St. Louis Park police were sent to an apartment on the 4300 block of Minnetonka Boulevard on May 23 where parents had gone to check on their son, whom they had not heard from in two days. Police found the 23-year-old victim lying on his bathroom floor and also found bindles of suspected heroin and hypodermic needles in the apartment. The autopsy found he died from a mix of heroin and fentanyl, according to a news release. NEWPORT, RI— Police broke up a crowd in a Park Holm parking lot early Monday morning and arrested five suspects. Kyrel L. Perry, 19, of Providence; David P. Herbermann, 26, of South Kingstown; Shaquille Hall, 23, of Providence; and Devante M. Hall, 19, of Newport were charged with Disorderly Conduct. Kendall L. Maloney, 29, of Tiverton, was charged with Violating a no contact order. According to the police report, around 1:40 a.m., officers were called for a crowd of disorderly people at 2 Park Holm. Between 20 and 25 people were in the parking lot. Some were running away as police arrived. Maloney's family was standing by his car and angry because some people had shattered his windshield. Maloney told police he had been arrested Saturday night for violating a no contact order involving his children's mother. He spent the rest of the weekend in prison at the Adult Correctional Institutions , then went to Newport District Court on Monday. He was released. When he went home,...
