A man was wounded in a shooting Monday in a confrontation at Creekwood North apartments on O’Neal Road in the northern part of Gulfport’s Orange Grove area . Deputy Police Chief Chris Loposser said the shots followed an “altercation” early Monday afternoon at the complex a few blocks east of U.S. 49. The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance while investigators were trying to find other parties who were present when it happened, he said. The shooting is the city’s second with injuries or death in less than two weeks, and both occurred at opposite ends of O’Neal Road. A neighbor obtained this footage seconds after the shooting at the Creekwood Apartments this afternoon. Authorities responded to a call of shots fired at Creek Wood Apartments off of O’Neal Road around 1 p.m. Staff members say this started as a domestic dispute and led to someone firing a single gun shot .
