New York- based CIT Bank is the lender. Mill Creek, a Dallas- based multifamily developer , is building the 422-unit building at 8215 Southwest 72nd Avenue . Records show Mill Creek ’s Metro Dadeland II LLC paid $11.4 million for the 1.8- acre development site in 2014. Mill Creek is wrapping up construction of the first phase, also a 422-unit, 25- story rental development at the same address. Amenities will include two rooftop decks, a park and pet spa, parking garage, a pool, gym and clubhouse. Leasing begins in early September. MILL CREEK, Wash. -- Police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead early Tuesday morning in a Mill Creek apartment . Officers were called shortly after 4 a.m. to Heatherwood Apartments on North Creek Drive . Police found the suspect, a 52-year-old man, with a cut on his hand walking around the parking lot. Inside an apartment, officers found the body of a woman who had been stabbed. The victim was the suspect's wife, police said. Detectives remained on the scene Tuesday. Police said no further information was immediately available. The cause and manner of death will be released by the medical examiner's office. 47.875226 -122.220172

Mill Creek Residential, a national apartment community operator , recently donated more than 200 household items to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore . The company donated furniture , cabinets, countertops and appliances; including refrigerators, stoves, microwaves and dishwashers from 40 apartments at an upscale property. "It takes donations from our community to make the Habitat Restore successful ," said Nancy Daly, ReStore co-chairwoman. Daly estimates $12,000 in projected sales from the donation will be put toward building a new home. Through Habitat for Humanity, hardworking families can apply to obtain affordable housing . They are required to contribute a combination of sweat equity, homeownership coursework and a zero-interest mortgage.
