An Atlanta man was arrested in the shooting death of a male-to- trans found dead in a car outside a College Park apartment complex earlier this month. Tyrone Anthony Kemp , 26, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of Troy Dangerfield, aka Tee Tee, 32. Kemp was taken into custody at a Union City car dealership where he worked cleaning cars , according to Major Lance Patterson of the College Park Police Department . Dangerfield was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a car parked outside the South Hampton Estates apartment complex at 4:20 a.m. on August 2. A transgender woman was found shot and killed early Monday morning outside of a College Park apartment complex . Atlanta resident TeeTee Dangerfield , 32, was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside of her vehicle at the South Hampton Estates apartment complex on July 31 at about 4:30 a.m., according to the College Park Police Department . Major Lance Patterson told Georgia Voice that College Park Fire Rescue took Dangerfield to Grady Memorial Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Patterson also said her family had been notified. There are no suspects at this time, according to Patterson. “Detectives are out there right now following up on leads that have been coming in since then,” he said. It’s also unclear whether Dangerfield’s murder had something to do with her being transgender. “At this time we don’t have anything that’s telling us that, but we’re not ruling out any possible motive,” Patterson said.
