29th Street Capital Acquires 218-Unit Woodlake Villas Apartments in Hot Las Vegas Market

LAS VEGAS, NV – 29th Street Capital (29SC), a privately- held real estate investment and advisory firm, has acquired Woodlake Villas Apartments , a 218- unit multifamily community in Las Vegas, Nevada. 29SC plans to implement a $1. 9 million capital improvement program to renovate unit interiors , enhance the property’s exterior and curb appeal and improve the amenity package. 29SC will also implement energy-efficient upgrades through the Freddie Mac Green financing program .The Las Vegas market has experienced significant economic improvements in recent years. In 2016 alone, the Las Vegas market ranked third in rent growth (Axiometrics), added 24,800 jobs and had a positive net migration of 40,000. Partnership Acquires 400-Unit Turtle Creek Apartment Community in Henderson, Nevada

HENDERSON, NV - Roxborough Fund I, an affiliate of San Francisco- based real estate investment firm The Roxborough Group, LLC in partnership with Continental Realty Advisors , a Denver-based multi- family investment and management firm , completed the acquisition of Turtle Creek Apartments , located in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson, Nevada.  Deal terms remain undisclosed .The 400- unit apartment complex is located in Henderson, Nevada, one of the most desirable submarkets of Las Vegas. The property's immediate location is particularly attractive due to its close proximity to Union Village, a 155 acre health care complex currently under construction on its first phase (Henderson Hospital), which is due to deliver in October 2016. Even though the number of home sales are slightly down this summer, the national median home price rose 6 .5% year-over-year to an all-time high of $263,800 in June, according to the National Association of Realtors (NAR). “The demand for buying a home is as strong as it has been since before the Great Recession,” said NAR chief economist Lawrence Yun . “Listings in the affordable price range continue to be scooped up rapidly,” he said, “but the severe housing shortages inflicting many markets are keeping a large segment of would-be buyers on the sidelines.” In a new report, GOBankingRates examined home prices for the 100 most populous markets using Zillow data, comparing prices in each market for June 2016 and June 2017.
