5-year-old stabbed in UNC Chapel Hill family residence complex
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Authorities in North Carolina say they anticipate charging a 34-year-old woman with first-degree murder after a " domestic incident " on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's campus left her 5-year-old son dead.
Orange County District Attorney Jim Woodall says Ebony Oluwaseva, 34, will be charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. She is hospitalized with injuries she suffered in the Sunday morning attack .
Her husband, 32-year-old Victor Oluwasegva, was injured in the incident but is expected to recover.
The deceased child hasn 't been named.
The violence occurred shortly after midnight in a single- family residence at the Baity Hill family housing community . Authorities said a knife was used as the weapon in the violence.
Authorities would not say whether the woman is the mother of the child.
